I find that a broody hen, when they first get chicks, want that chick to stay under her feathers, and not wander too far. She pecks the crap out of the adventurous ones. There might be a problem, because at 2 weeks, they are pretty independent. I'd give her one at night and watch her carefully. If that one is still alive the next day, try a second one, or give her the rest, but WATCH her.

HI you guys! I’m in Lucerne valley ! New to the forum as well! I don’t have the heart to read all 600something pages to see if there’s somebody in here that’s from Lucerne lmao, but I’m case you do come forth person!

If anybody knows of fertilized peacock eggs available in the area please let me know. We will stop by a ranch this weekend to talk to the owners that we know have peacocks. See if maybe we can work something out with them, apparently they have been having issues with raven stealing their eggs. So might not have that much luck but let’s keep hoping!

Hey all! Where do I post about roo chicks needing new homes? I have 2 that are a week old that I want to find good homes for. I just can't remember where the designated posting area is. TIA!
