I would avoid all poultry shows

I usually go to fairs but I'm not going at all this year just in case. For people that do, make sure to clean your shoes, hands ... and other good hygiene before seeing your chickens!

Thank you!!! YES...unfortunately not all chicken keepers are aware! I would avoid all poultry shows ect in southern Calif until quarrentines are over because they are finding new cases in the testing area...moving birds will spread the disease. Would not want to risk my.flocks health!

is there a way to find out what cities it has been found in? with backyard chickens becoming more popular i am getting worried. i might have to buy a shoe bath for the neighbor hood children! (at dusk we free range our birds in the backyard, no kiddos around)
