Hi, I'm in North Hollywood and I'm changing my focus/downsizing a bit and I have 2 chicks and a few pullets almost ready to lay to rehome.

2 female Opal Legbar chicks dna tested and homozygous for NOT blue egg genes, so will lay beige eggs, hatched Aug. 28
2 Alchemist Farm silver double laced Barnevelder pullets, hatched June 6
1 Oliver Egger/Marans-ish gray pullet hatched June 3
1 Alchemist Farm black Isbar/Silverudd Blue pullet, hatched May 7
1 Alchemist Farm Azure Egger (legbar mix), hatched~ June 6

I hope I inserted these photos right. If you are interested in any of these chickens, let me know. TY!

Hi there, I need to rehome 4 hens, a barred Plymouth Rock, a white Plymouth Rock, a Wyandotte and a Golden sex link. They were born June 8, 2020. I live in the Manhattan beach area. Can anyone give me advice about this? Thanks!

I actually have had good results from Craigslist. Especially with hens. All the chickens from the post above, except the chicks, are rehomed. Of course, eventually the people get your email/phone number/address, so you have to use your judgment.

Hi all! A friend of my neighbor's needs to give up their flock, they have the following:
2 RIRs
2 Americanas
1 golden buff (That's what they call her I'm not sure if that's the actual breed.)
If anyone is interested please let me know and I'll give your contact info to my neighbor. I wish I could take the Americana's but we are at legal coop capacity in my area.
Hi! I assume they have been re-homed since the post is from May, but if they are available, i'm interested!

Hey So Cal friends,

I'm looking to rehome an 8 week old rooster. He is an Alchemist Blue rooster bred by Alchemist Farms in Sepastobol, CA (click the link for more breed information). We live in Whittier, CA (edge of LA county and Orange County) and I'm happy to drive as far as San Diego or Ventura to deliver him. If you are interested or know of someone/someplace that might be interested please let me know.

Thanks

Here's a picture of him a few weeks ago:

Hi there, I may be late to the party, but I would be interested in your barnevelders if you still need to find them a home. :)

I have given away my barnevelders. At this time I have only 2 9-week old Opal Legbar pullets to give away. They tested o/o for, meaning they don't carry the blue egg gene, so they will lay most likely beige to light brown eggs like barnevelders.

Here's craigslist https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/grd/d/north-hollywood-opal-legbar-pullets/7553475034.html

Thanks for the reply. I’m in it more for the feathers than the egg color, are they compact size and mellow like the barnevelders? My flock consists solely of bantams.

They r more people-centered and i wouldn't say mellow. They're part leghorn. My Barnevelders are independent foragers, but nervous around people
