Just wanted to show you my mothers day present from my sweet husband. He landscaped the area by the pond. It was just a patch of dirt before. That naughty goose is eating the flowers already. Someday I'll get around to painting the fence. I kinda like she shabby sheek look tho. Before Sebastian had watermelon for the 1st time today. He loved it!

Yea I was gonna look it up today but for some reason he is not having any problems this morning. IDK why but it seems to have cleared up on it's own. In fact as freaky as he looked yesterday today I can't pick him out of the group! Very happy about that!

So I am up to 10 BCMs now. 3 of them were from my own pullets. I had every intention of marking them when they hatched so I would know which were which but they hatched at night, then they jumped the divider so I have no idea which ones are mine. I can probably tell once they get older since most of my pullets have too much leg and foot feathering and the others shouldn't have that issue. In fact a couple of my marans girls look almost like cochins their feet are so fluffy!!! haha Is it terrible that I like this look? My main focus is egg color so I am not gonna stress about cute fuzzy feet.

Today is my oldest child's 35th birthday. I'm trying to figure out how that happened ... wasn't I just 35 not that long ago?! Time is seriously zipping by, faster all the time.

I have a 35 year old too Kim & she isn't my oldset. My baby will be 33 this month. Where did the time go? I remember being young then wham.....I am old.....LOL It was sure an adventure getting here though.
 
Sunny I just got the seeds in the mail. I didn't get your package out, but I have swaps this month and will probably be going to the PO tomorrow or wednesday depending on when the car gets out of the shop. Maybe I can figure out how to do it tonight, so you don't have a longer wait.

I spent entirely too much money on beads and needles this weekend. I'm exhausted and can barely move, but this weekend was the most fun I've had since Bill died. Got some of my moojoo back I think. I looked for more of the crimps, but they had zero. One of the drums invited us to the Pow Wow on their reservation next month. If I go I'm going to see if there is someone there selling them. I do have some coming this month though, but probably not for a couple of weeks.
