OMG! I'm just sick. I thought there was a plastic bag that must have flown over and hooked to the brooder, but no, it was my baby. Her wing is ok, but toes are straight out and theres a small cut at the base on top. It's not a bad cut.
 
Kim, I found a young roo stuck between two fences, after 2 days of looking for him. He couldn't stand up, just kept falling to the side. I put him in a smaller cage w/food/water in the coop with his flock and the next day he was up and about.

Give her some time. I think when they are in a different position like that for so long it takes time for them to get everything flowing again....just like us! Hope your girl feels better after a good nights sleep in the upright position.
 
Oh no Kim!!! I hope she feels better soon! I am no help either!!! We need a vet's opinion here!

I haven't found anything to wear to the funeral. Only things I've really bought as far as clothes the past year and a half were all for funerals and I have no idea what I did with any of it.

Been taking care of Rockette. She must have been hanging that way all day. And yes I've been crying over a chicken. Her crop was practically empty, so I loaded her up on food and gave her some treats. She's in a small box. I figure if she has to lay and sit with her legs not having a lot of room to spread, maybe the leg will stay under her. Wish I had found her earlier. Wish I didn;t have to be out the door by 8 to get to the Bay Area. I'm going to try and get back as soon as I can and see if I can catch my neighbor. Maybe he knows what I can do. I didn't even think of him till just now. Hopefully he'll be outside when I get back. Not comfortable knocking on his door.

OK well, my eggs were due to hatch today and nothing going on at all yet. My little Rockette is tucked in and although she was kind of freaked about being in the house, I have a feeling by the time she's better, I'll have to chase her out all the time. Right now that sounds like a good thing. I just want her to be ok.

Gonna try to get some sleep and hope I can make it through tomorrow. Funerals are something I've just had enough of, but it was bothering me that I had decided not to go, so I guess I'll have to deal with it.

My last batch of eggs, the Sizzles, were 1 & 2 days late but ended up with 8 little multi colored chicks from the dozen shipped eggs so I am good with that. Hope yours do as well & are just late bloomers too.
