Bummer! That goes along with what I have been hearing from other folks about auctions. Too often 1 person will bring sick animals and before you know it it has spread through the whole room.
I wish money wasn't so tight. I really loved my BW roo and I miss him. Wasn't going to start that color, but now I wish I had a whole flock. Good luck and I hope you get a really good price on them. Seems to be a lot of interest in them so far.
I just got home from a quick trip to sacramento and I have to say I thought of you guys as I passes turlock. I saw some chicken coops on the east side of 99, made me laugh and my friends were sure I was chicken crazy.
hey, I have a question, does anybody have Thai chickens? They're very popular in this area but I don't see any use to them, they are those tall lanky looking chickens. My sisters neighbor has them and I can see them over the fence, but I just don't get them, only thing I can think of is that they use them for cock fighting, but the hmong people seem to really dig them not the mexicans, which is where you get your cock fighting from.

Okay, I'll bite.......you have me trying to figure out what chicken coops you saw passing through...More information please. What exit were you near???? I am driving down the 99 in my mind trying to envision what it was you saw. It certainly wasn't me. I am 3 miles from the freeway & don't have coops, but covered pens instead.....LOL

I don't know anyone personally that has the Thai chickens & I personally agree..what are they for??? Of course you can eat any chicken & I guess they all lay eggs..........LOL I am getting Shamos for my son though. He is interested in them for their sheer size & because they are different. I guess that's why they say different strokes for different folks. Sometimes I wonder why I have some of the breeds I have, but it's just because I wanted to give them a try & enjoy the experience of trying them out. It is my retirement plesure.
