Two are out now and another zipping.

I think they are either blue or lav, but IDK for sure. There's brown on there and pink legs. We don;t have pink legs to work with for these chicks. Someone was hoppin a fence. LOL They are cute though and my OEs are half FBCM. Could be! They have pea combs, but they have single genes too, so I guess.

Goodie then he will have buddies to talk too and not scream for you.....OH BOY, getting midnight roo visitors then? Shame on those boys......stranger things have happened

I don't know what's going on with those legs. Maybe when I get them all out and really look at them they'll be willow. I bet that's what will happen and I think they are blue. Wonder if that means I am getting ALL ROOS! I've done that so many times it isn't funny!

Shoot girl! You've got a roo curse or something! I've got way too many roos myself right now. Out of 30 BCMS I've got 19 roos! Gonna keep feeding them for awhile longer before I decide who to cull. I want to keep the best 2 or 3 for breeding.

Well I don't think I'm keeping any of these long enough to find out. I'm putting them on CL as soon as I know how many I have. I need feed money! I couldn't keep these right now, if they were all pullets. I just hope the ones I put in the other day hatch, cause Big Bird lays like crazy!

Gees, I have no idea but I would sure like to find someone with Royal blue eggs. I have never seen one. The closest I have even seen was a tealish one in a picture here on BYC & I think it was from Pips & Peeps B/W Ameraucanas. I am sure someone else knows for sure. Have you tried Facebook to find your Mom's friend. My daughter swears by it as does a few of my friends but I have no personal experience with it. Good Luck..

ramirezframing we'll have to make you a member of this thread and hopefully you'll run into your mom's friend that way.

Karen I had a friend in Union City, Alex who showed up at my job one day to show me his eggs. I saw them and said Amerauncana, because years and years ago I had bought some from the back of a magazine and
his laid the same as mine. Only when I started reading BYC did I see that the eggs should be blue only. Maybe our were Aruacnas, but I remember Amer......in the name. He was shocked I knw about the eggs. They were multi colored and swirled. Anything from gold to purple, blue, green, all together could be in those eggs and I was really disapponied when I started seeing just blue eggs on here. I posted about my eggs from years ago and someone suggested I contact a member here, so I pm'd him and then never heard anything. I think I did all that just before Bill died. I haven't really spent the time to find them again, although with colors of eggs I want, you'd think I would. The time Alex brought those eggs to show me, he wouldn't give any up. They were what he said was reallyextremely rare now and although I got to hold a couple that were swirls of purple, green and gold, I never saw another egg like that anywhere. Ever! They are what I wanted when I came back to chickens. Bill would ask why I hadn't bought them yet, but I told him I just couldn't find anyone with them. I had never gone to Alex or his gf's house, so don't know exactly where they live, but I really want those birds. When I had them is was like the 70's! It was like 1998 when I last saw Alex and he hadn't been feeling well, so not sure if I'll find him, but I want to so badly. There were a lot more colors than we see today back then. Maybe they were off colors, but they are what I've always wanted again.

OK gotta get Kayla to school and come back and tell everyone about my horrible windy day yesterday. Lots of damages and loss and I had been up for like 36 year when I finally past out last night.

Hi Kim,

Those eggs could come from an indian Chicken which may be the progenetor of the Aruacanas. I found this:

GALLUS ARAUCANA ECAUDATUS OVIS TESTA COERULEUS

Indian name : 'Colloncas'

Colloncas are NON-TUFTED / RUMPLESS

Eggs : ( a ) Blue with Brown Spots

( b ) Blue

(CORNEVIN & CASTLLO)

Where the eggs blue with gold or brown spots?

You might be able to get some of these chickens.

Good Luck!
