It was at the Duck Nook. I arranged the meet up last year but at the last minute my Mom was hospitalized so I couldn't make it. I heard that it was a lot of fun though. The place got good reviews.

Yeah it was pretty good. I'm going to the show, but not leaving the fair grounds this time. I'm not real fond of Stockton.

Yeah if we do make it, we will be heading up and back the same day so I'd like to hang at the show and try to see as much as possible. I wish we could stay overnight. You all should have a meetup though! It's so much fun meeting other BYCers.

Been getting an egg here and there. Three Marans eggs and boy are they starting out light. I know it's the same hen and they ARE getting darker by a fraction of a shade at a time. LOL I've gotten one OEGB egg and yesterday one of my blue Sumatra pullets laid...YAY!!!!! Don't know how many quail, but everything is going into the incubator as they hatch and come to room temp. Lost all those little pullets when the dogs attacked and I need to replace them.

My girls started laying again this week! They took a good 2 months off this year. I have an OE that takes after her Marans parent and lays a dark brown egg. She laid her first post molt egg a couple days ago and it was a medium brown with tiny dark speckles. Yesterday, she laid a dark brown egg so I guess her spray equipment is back to working again! I just need one more egg today and I'll take a pic with a full egg plate! Whoo hoo!!!!!!!
