OK I've been making separate pages for the information on our page.https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/california-thread-members-list-and-helpful-information

Some of them are open for all of you to add to. I want to keep things as clean and organized as possible, but I think that if we don't get spammed or have any roblems that some can remain open. Please take a minute to go look and add any info you think belongs on each page. I'll be doing this with most of our main page and adding links to that page as I go, so keep looking back as I add. I haven't deleted anything from the first page and I won't until I know everything has been moved and isn't a mess, which I'm capable of causing. I have a lot going on, but I really wanted to get this project started and I'm kind of hoping a few kind souls will be kind enough to help make these pages that are function and easy to use.

The list is at the top of the main page and I'm adding more as well.
 
Notice I started a Recipe Box page. sunnydawn does this on the Nevada thread and I stole the idea from her. Thanks Sunny! Love ya babe!!! LOL

Not much time right now but Tuesday I should be done with the major project I'm in the middle of. I'll check out the pages and add some recipes. :)
 
Well my guineas just went to their new home

I just couldn't play off the "what is that noise and where is it coming from" reaction for the neighbors anymore. Couldn't put my or any neighbors roosters in jeapordy, but they're going to a good home. Hope their new momma loves them.
 
Since we became city and not county I'm just holding on, so I thought I'd better stop pushing my luck. If I ever get out of here I'm hoping it's to a place where I can get more. They did a great job on getting rid of the last of the weeds out back. Now if the chickens will just turn that last section for me I can start a lawn. Had one when I moved here, but between Bermuda grass and the other junk, that's pretty much what was green.
 
Kim I tried to go into the recipe page to add some recipes and it wouldn't let me since I'm not authorized to edit. Same result when I went into the breeder's page to list breeders by breed.

BTW folks, to do this right I need each of the breeds you each offer as well as the varieties you offer each breed in. Most of you have the breeds listed but not everyone has the varieties they offer listed. It would also be helpful to know certain specifics like do you sell local only or will you ship? Do you ship eggs only or will you ship chicks as well? If you offer adult birds then list that also or I could add a note such as "email regarding availability of adults and juveniles". I can't make endless notes in this area but I can certainly add a short note. We are not allowed to list prices on BYC except in the For Sale section so don't list these. Folks can email you for that info.

I'll have to see what's wrong. I added you to the breeder page and I left the recipe page open. hmmmm
