Sunny! Thanks for nothing! Friend! LOL My mom used to tell everyone how my best friend and I showed up at our house with an Irish Setter pup on the end of my friends shoe laces. LOL NOTE! Irish Setters eat EVERYTHING! Plus the lady at Elmwood Petshop in Berkeley used to give me pups that didn't sell. hehe....Did I mention I bought a Spider Monkey from the back of a magazine once??? Yeah, my mom must have loved me after all. I'm still alive.

Oh man if I ever hit the lotto I am in soooo much trouble!!! I'll have to hire folks to help me care for all the critters I'll get! Steve is reading over my shoulder and he says he already knew that.

I have not worked for a year and besides my lady and twice a week auctions, taking care of the zoo is the highlight of my current life. I have a wooden picnkanic benches set up out by my pens and cages. Often I feed and just lounge there watching them interact and dreaming up stuff that I could build for them. I then scrounge through my junk pile and try to build it spending as little money as possible. Today I turned an old wooden peach bin on its side, wired the front and made a door. Moved 3 pairs of pigeons in and was then able to seperate some bantam pairs by moving a pair into my old pigeon pen.Tough life huh! Gonna enjoy it as long as I can!

Anyone have or know where I can pick up some chicks in or around Fresno? I had 1 chick hatch from my last batch and the thing is cheeping up a storm, he needs some friends.
