I was thinking that today was like the first day of kindergarten at BYC. Some of the kids did really well, showed up ready to learn, checking out thier cubby, looking at all the decorations the teacher put up. Some kids noticed some kids that needed a friend and help finding thier seat, so they tried to help them....and some kids cried and cried and thier parents had to come pick them up because they just wern't ready to start kindergarten.

Bad day yesterday and today is the 12th again and I'm already a little out of it. Only reason I'm even up is I had a flooded kitchen and it'll probably be that way again by morning. One of the little Lop bunnies got out and I guess he got thirsty and decided to bite through the plastic water line to my refrigerator. Took forever to wrap plummers tape around it enough to get it to stop (that stuff drives me nuts!) and I thought it might be a good idea to wrap electrical tape around that. By the time I found the tape the other tape was bulged and leaking again. Put a ton of electrical tape around it and just checked the towel I put under it and it's completely damp, so just a matter of time. Car is still in the shop, so I have to wait til I get it back and go buy a connector and splice it. I don't hold much hope, since I did that right after Bill died and my SIL had to come over and fix what split.

WOW my neighbor's Beagles are going off like crazy right now. They're never out this late. Need to see what's going on.

Thanks guys. I went to bed after the Beagle serenade and remembered the knob in my sleep. LOL

I woke early this morning. Curled up on the couch to watch the Today Show and fell back to sleep. Since my car isn't back, a mom from Makayla's school had said she'd pick her up this morning, but she'd probably be late. She is always late. LOL I woke up to her calling from my driveway. All I can say is I hope Makayla's hair stays put for the day.

No word from my mechanic yet. I hope that's not a bad sign.

just tossing this out there my friends . i am looking for a netherland dwarf doe SQ a year old or younger not really set on a color yet we have a buck and hes a broken black so maybe a white or a broken of a different color heck i don't know show me what you got . thanks for your time .

Hope your car is fine.

I can't contain my excitement! I'm going to start working next week...It's only part-time but the pay is pretty good for working just 3 1/2 hrs a day and it's "subbing". Plus the week after that I have an interview for the same position but it will be the "permanent" version.

When it rains, it pours but I am just so glad to be able to make money again. I was getting so depressed and watching as I hand over my loan payments every month to the gov't (I think the interest rate went up on a couple of them..ARGH!).

Pam I haven't been on the regular forum, just checking my subscribed threads, but I'm not surprised. I used to do consulting, increasing efficiency and improving the flow from Front Office to Manufacturing to Shipping and the one thing I always knew would be my obstacle would be the employees. Most people hate change. I mean it doesn't matter if it's a ton better or not they just don't like change! Just to get folks to even try something new I had to repeat my mantra over and over again, "hey, we'll try it for 2 weeks and if we give it our best and find it just doesn't work for us then we'll go back to the way it was".

Trust me at the end of 2 weeks I was hard pressed to ever find someone who wanted to go back to doing it the long and tedious way. It'll be the same way here. Give it 2 weeks. Folks that work on learning it and give it a fair chance will not want to go back to the way it was. BTW am I the only one that has a working spell check? It's been working fine for me.
