California white VS White Plymouth Rock

One difference I don't think anyone has mentioned, perhaps because it is obvious to all, but California Whites lay white eggs and White Plymouth Rocks lay brown eggs.

Brody's Broodello :

I would go Cornish Cock to Rock Hen

I was wondering about breeding the meaties. Do you breed the WR hen to the Cornish Roo or vice versa?

Thank you for the info

Do I have to breed those two together then turn around and breed the offspring? Or just use their offspring for my meaties? Sorry all the questions.

Just grow out the offspring to eat.

cool do you know about white plymouth rocks?
We have 1 "white rock." We thought she was a leghorn until her first egg was brown. We've had her about a year, and she had been our most consistent layer until we got a couple ISA browns. Regardless, she is still my wife's favorite girl. Her eggs are quite large, and she is very mild mannered. No experience with the cali, but I would recommend white rocks if you have a chance to get some.
