Californian quail sexing

For the californias, I agree with @Chip76. For the bobwhites, I don't think they can be feather sexed.

Do males make certain calls? Or jump. All my quails fly.

Hey guys so hubby really checked my calis tonight and we have 3 girls and 1 boy! Very very happy! Thank you for your help! Now to figure out the bobwhites!
