Call duck colors/sex

I imagine that some people keep all of their ducks together without problems but I keep my "Bigs" separate from my bantams.
Thanks so much. I just love the way they look and after seeing them in real life at our State Fair I fell in love with them. I have a really large pen but still would not want anything to happen to them if I could get some.

I have one Mallard that is a lot smaller than the rest of my ducks and they don't pay any attention to her at all other than the drake mates her .

Bantam drakes can drown bantam hens, but it'd be a lot easier for a larger drake to drown a little hen. Plus drakes getting aggressive with each other could result in some really bad injuries or possibly even death.
Yes my Drakes are all in Drake jail right now and the water sources that they have will not allow them to drown them. They are just large water bowls with something for them to stand on if they do get stuck in them. I appreciate all of your help in this matter, thanks so much.

Okay, thanks a lot. I really appreciate your quick reply.
I was shocked when I read where a drake call was so mean and vicious. I would not have realized being that small that they could put marks on someone biting like that. My Mallard/Rouen Drake has nibbled at my heels and feet before but it actually tickles and he has never been able to leave a mark. He must not be trying very hard, lol.
