I've got a question for the Call duck breeders out there. Is wheat bran sufficient as a source of wheat for the Calls, or is wheat middlings/whole wheat a better option. I feed crumbles, not pellets, so mixing wheat bran in is easy enough. I have some wheat bran that I top dress my horse's feed with, and I've added some to the duck mix but I want to make sure it's sufficient. My feed store does have whole wheat available if I should go with that instead.
