Call duck eggs...do they get bigger?

When I went out to feed/water this morning, my little hen was in her nest box that I made for her and was building herself a nice, cozy little nest. So I think I'm going to let her do all the work. Besides I've got 2 bators full of chicken eggs to hatch myself.

I got my first call duck egg this morning, and it's about the size of the oegb eggs I used to get when I had those birds. It is slightly larger than a jumbo quail egg, and greenish. Maybe about the size of a quarter?

First pic is a quarter, call duck egg, jumbo quail egg, and a button quail egg.

This pic is the other three plus a regular chicken egg.

Did your call duck egg get bigger than this?

The best I can remember, mine was about the same size as your duck egg...MAYBE just a little smaller. Same color as yours, too.

I was shocked to find this today - I didn't expect them to begin laying just yet. They've been mating, though, so I guess it wasn't too out of the ordinary.
