I've gotten eggs from Texas that smelled like smoke but that was when they were having wildfires. There was also some kind of bird seed in the box also it was sprinkled all round the packageing.
I have no clue why but it was kinda funny! Like they were trying to feed the eggs!

I agree, give it shot & try them. You never know, they might make it. I've had some with detached air cells hatch before & I just hatched out call ducks at the beginning of the month that were shipped. 5 out of 7 made it to lockdown & all of those hatched & are doing great now.

Okay, i'll give it a try! they were all the way from PA. That is kinda funny about the bird seed : )
