Call Duck help needed please.

Hey all, I require some expert help please from you knowledgeable bunch!

My call duck lady has been sitting for the last few weeks (around 28 days) she has been sitting on 7 eggs, 2 hatched on Saturday but she is still sitting on 5 eggs. What do I do please? Do I leave them in her nest with her, in the hope they hatch or until she decides to stop sitting on them or take them out & give up on them? I don't know what to do at all for the best!

Also when should I give the ducklings crumb food?

You can offer the ducklings crumbles almost immediately after a hatch. I moisten it for them so it is easier to eat. I only do this for about 4-6 days, then they seem to have no problem with it dry.

Have you checked the eggs in the nest? I don't know if the hen will even let you, but if you can(without making her abandon the nest for more than 15 minutes) you should. Some may need help making a hole big enough to come out, but are otherwise ready, some may need help pipping the shell, or they may not have made it. It really depends on what you find in there.
