Call duck looks like it is lacking in good food and overall care

Purina flock raiser is what I use also.I think I have fish oil here will have to buy the puppy chow. Vinegar in water .So breakfast will be oats, egg, and fish oil. Lunch flock with ground chow and greens.Where would I find mazuri? I have never heard of it.
maybe just flock in the evening .Don't know if I can over do the protein ,or should I worry about it if he has a varity of food ?

I would give him Poultry Drench for a few weeks to give him a big ol' dose of vitamins... that stuff is AMAZING. http://www.amazon.com/Bovidr-Laboratories-Poultry-Nutri-Drench-oz/dp/B000HHQEBK

I've seen it work wonders on the sickest animals, and bring a nice healthy sheen to those who are already healthy. I give it at a really diluted rate tho... about 1/4 of the recommended dosage unless the animal is on it's last leg or very seriously injured... then it's straight out of the bottle. So for one gallon I usually give one or two droppers-full depending on the result I'm looking for.

I'm probably gonna jinx myself here, but I bought 50 broiler chicks from the hatchery recently and it's common to lose a few in the first week. One or two will die in the first 24 hours after arrival and maybe one or two will die in the first week. That's why the hatchery sends so many extras. I started them on the Drench right out of the box... 3 weeks later I still have all 55 (my original order and the 5 extra's they sent). I gave them about 1 dropperful per gallon each day for the first 2 weeks. They're all happy and healthy with energy to spare. Wish there was a way to make them poop less! LOL!

Flax seed would be good for him too. You can pick up a box of milled flax at Wal-Mart for around 2$ and just add it in to his food. I mix it into my layer's mash to even Omega-3 enrich their eggs (when the eggs start coming anyway!)

His legs might be scaley from mites?? I know sometimes our chickens get mites under the scales on their legs, we just put warm vaseline or neosporin on like a massage every third day or so for a week or two, to smother the mites and shine up the scales.

I thought the same thing but his legs are starting to turn orange now and looking alot better.I did put the vaseline on them just in case. I have drench ! Will give some to him tomorrow.Don't know why I didn't think of that

.
I have got to get a picture of him posted. Today he looked even better than yesterday so I do believe it was lack of good care that he was suffering from. His wing is even looking better and not dropping like before.I am hoping that he will be looking and feeling like a normal healthy duck should before winter sets in.
He has started calling to me the past two days and comes waddling when he sees me.I think he knows I care about him as he truely seems happy to see me.
I do mix flax seed in my birds food as it's is suppose to be not only good for them but for us also
