call duck question

i've got the book POCKETFUL OF POULTRY and it says that call ducks are VERY noisy. how true is this.

Only the females are noisy, but it is true-they are unbelievably loud at times.
Mine aren't too bad until they hear or see me or unless something is going on. They don't quack ALL of the time.

Same here, they tend to be happy and fairly quiet until they see us. Even all of new ducklings do this.

I have 7 adult Calls and two newly hatched Call ducklings. I have 9 standard sized ducks. I don't think my Calls are any noisier than the standard sized ducks. I think any female duck would be too noisy for the city. Male Calls would be ideal...so tiny with tiny little voices - perfect!
