Call Ducklings - My Second Batch of the Spring - Photos

Beautiful babies Scott! I have two eggs developing for sure plus a couple of "iffies", and it is sure hard to wait. Good luck with your other batches, I look forward to more pics!

Scott,

They are so beautiful!! I can't wait till mine hatch. So, far all 6 look like they are developing.

I want to say that I got 6 call eggs from Scott. I have never seen such great packing. They came in perfect shape. I have started incubating them. Like I said All Six look like they are developing. For shiped eggs, I want to give my hats off to Scott.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I'm glad to hear all 6 are developing. You are turning them on their side, right?

And if anyone is interested, I've got several auction for call duck eggs going now here on BYC Auctions.

I've successfully hatched calls in a Brinsea Mini Advance and a Lyon Roll-X (RX2) incubator. Temperature at 99.5 and relative humidity at 55% during incubation, then increased to 65-70% during hatch. Call duck eggs should be turned on their side... both the incubators I used are capable of doing that. Using these methods, I'm getting about a 90% hatch rate with eggs from my call ducks.

I may try this. They are beautiful Scott. Like little balls of sunshine......

SCOTT!!! I just ordered the Brinsea Mini Advance. I have had about 24 eggs and gotten 6 ducks......Gonna try one of these! Thanks!!! Sue
