Your call drake needs a friend!

I guess I should drive down there and bring home all your cute little ducklings for him!

Actually, my Call is hanging out in the "Bachelor Pen" with my Mallard drakes right now. They're all getting along pretty well, and I don't want to move anyone around and screw up the dynamic.

I've successfully hatched calls in a Brinsea Mini Advance and a Lyon Roll-X (RX2) incubator. Temperature at 99.5 and relative humidity at 55% during incubation, then increased to 65-70% during hatch. Call duck eggs should be turned on their side... both the incubators I used are capable of doing that. Using these methods, I'm getting about a 90% hatch rate with eggs from my call ducks.

I may try this. They are beautiful Scott. Like little balls of sunshine......

SCOTT!!! I just ordered the Brinsea Mini Advance. I have had about 24 eggs and gotten 6 ducks......Gonna try one of these! Thanks!!! Sue

Sue,

You will really like the Mini Advance... its easy to use and I had great success with it hatching call eggs. Let me know how you like it.
