NO what I would like for you to do is to make him a safe Hole, you see they only have enough air to last the Maximum of 24 hours. so your other died because he ran out of air. Now we can't wait on this guy, Please make him a safe hole NOW..

Right now it hasn't even broken the air cell, although I can see movement beneath it when I candle it from the side. I don't know if that means he's trapped beneath it or not. If you think I should try to tear the membrane, I will.

Also, here's a closeup of Wobbles' navel, I placed some antibiotic salve on it to prevent infection. Right now he is flipping out and squawking, trying to stay upright and move around. If you hold him vertically, his head will loll to either side and he just can't seem to hold it upright.

OK number three all's I want you to do is make a safe hole,

THAT means, make a small hole at the large end of the shell. NO bigger then a pen tip. This allows air to flow through and gives him directions as to where to aim at.

that's all you need to do, don't touch his membrane, and don't peal shell off.

I thought you had to coax the vent flap back quite a bit to see their gender? It's swollen right now, that's why it's so big and pink. :/ Wobbles kicked off the shell before the umbilical cord thingy had fallen off. No blood. Just a bump.
