I just think my information could help others..

No, umm. Keep separated till you want them to breed and provide swimming water for breeding so Drakes can cool and shrink penis back inside....Sorry it is a bit of a horrible topic, but it's needed to be told. Casanova is a heavy breeder and without cool water he bred on land so he could not get the swelling out of his penis and he became exposed..

Sure is quite an awkward topic but i'd rather know how to deal with it than not know at all. My run is currently flooded (Where the Call ducks hang out) And they pretty much live in the flooded areas, So water wont be an issue. I'm planning on just turning where it floods the most into a pond for them so they'll have water almost year-around. Not sure if I'll be able to separate my drakes though.. they don't get along when it's just the two and I don't have an extra coop To keep just the two in. But i'll definitely make sure they'll have water to breed in for sure~ Thanks for the heads up

We are expecting a snow storm tonight into tomorrow, expecting up to a foot. We always get the biggest storms at the end of winter, and early spring, probably because it warms up. It should be interesting.

Poor little fella..I will not breed him again till May if all goes well..I just looked at his doodle and the tip is still half pink , so the exposure turned it dark..I pray I caught this in time.....Oh please, oh please...

I just looked at the weather again and there is going to be a high of 20 next week. I am never going to get my ducklings outside!
I checked on them with no heat lamp and they are as fine as can be. I will turn it back on tonight.
