Strange rules..:idunno..Oh well..What can you do...?
Not much other than sell locally. I think what I'll do is start building breeding coops, And find a good breeding stock of birds that I want to breed, And once i've got everything ready i'll try and become NPIP certified. I think the government only tests the birds you plan on breeding, Not my laying flock.. and they don't test waterfowl.

@oldhenlikesdogs have you ever ordered hatching eggs from MyPetChicken?
Yes I have. I got some more coming later this month. I got a wonderful pair of chocolate Orpingtons last year, as well as an olive egger, cuckoo bluebar, and some buff Orpingtons.

This year I have some Millie fleur d'uccle, bantam calico Cochin, bantam olive eggers, and some frizzled Easter eggers hatching eggs coming. Just trying to decide if I should try my incubator or mess around with my bantams for hatching. I will probably decide the week they come which is April 23.

Shannon I'm sorry about your duckling dying. I would wait to cull Clover. Those feet may straighten out. It's adorable.

I haven't a clue what to do with Casanova. I generally let nature do it's things, and almost everything heals up. But if it's still hanging out it could get more damage.

I LOVE my chocolate Orpingtons!!!! They are some of my best layers.

So I got suckered into bringing two more babies home today....
I know one is a Rouen.... But what is the black with yellow?
