Thank you~ All of my Jersey Giants are turning out to be great mothers so far, The one with the ducklings is amazing~ It's her first clutch too so i'm surprised with how well she's doing. It's always funny though to watch them freak over the ducklings when the try to swim in the water bowl

The all black call is my favorite, Besides the penciled call hiccup (In the third pic) But my black call is the smallest and chubbiest one so far, I really can wait to start breeding them~!
I'll occasionally have a couple with salt on them, But I still don't like them
I'm going to have my garden completely fenced in and just have my guineas in there since i've heard they're really good at keeping the bugs off the plants, Hopefully they'll do the weeding for me too..

I'm just a little worried since my only black call drake is starting to get a lot of brown on him, Hope he loses it after his adult molt

I have a strawberry patch too. My uncle puts a layer of straw over his in the Fall. He says it protects them.I'll occasionally have a couple with salt on them, But I still don't like them
I don't freeze or make them into anything but I normally do grow strawberries and make my own jam out of them, Sadly none of my strawberry plants came up this year

Thank you~ She is actually! I thought at first someone plucked out all her tail feathers but when I noticed they weren't growing back I decided to feel around for a tail.. Doesn't have one at all~!
My strawberry patch was over-grown with weeds, I'm probably just going to start all over again and make another strawberry patch next year, Too late now..
