I just planted my Apple trees last year and only paid $60 each. The greenhouse was asking $170 for the same thing.. Home Depot...
Home Depot is normally my go-to place for plants and trees, I've got to go over there sometime and see what they got, I'd really love to get a nice big pumpkin patch going too, I always grow pumpkins and sell them just to make a little spending money, They always go so fast and i'd normally get like around $450-$650 to spend on more birds or supplies to build more coops for more birds :gig
Cool. What breed is she?
She's an Isa brown I got for free from a feed store another with a couple of others that were sick, The store didn't want to deal with them so i'd offer to take them free of charge ;)

Yes..I love Home Depot..
Cool story about that Chicken.

I wonder what colour Dandy is?..Or what colour he is going to be. His head isn't turning green, it's turning a dark grey and only the cap on his head. Hmm?. I'll have to wait and see..
Got any recent pictures of him? I don't think i've seen him after he got all of his feathers in.
Why the heck am I raising Birds. Pumpkins are the thing to sell...:lau...I could just talk to pumpkin..:wee
Ha~! You've gotta sell a lot of pumpkins though, I think last year I sold around 170? Plus all the gourds and ornamental corn/corn stocks. my trick is I start selling wayy before Halloween and just keep selling them until halloween's been over for at least a week or two.. Had a pig farmer come to me the week after halloween saying he'd take whatever I had left. The money of course is spent just like that on either more birds or.. more birds.

Here is Dandy today. Not a great picture because he runs away..

No idea, Turkey eggs normally take 28 days to hatch and Pyxis thinks it's about 2 weeks in so maybe another 2 weeks?

Haha, I don't really need more turkeys but, I thought hey~ It's just one egg, And it might not even hatch  Just the thought of having a wild turkey sounds cool, I really love how they look in the wild too~

Welp, Just flipped them all, Thank you~! I hope I get something out of my guinea eggs, My males aren't doing their job and only 2 have paired up with a hen so far, So i'm not expecting many to be fertile.. But for the ones that are I sure do hope that they hatch~!
You should have a better hatch rate with the fat side up. :D;) our TSC sells the 30% turkey starter crumble that's good for game birds, do they need higher when they get older?

@MillersFarm
Your garden sounds big. You would laugh your head off at my garden..:lau
It's only about 6X10...:woot
I'm hilarious because I check daily to see if anything has come up. It was only planted about 5 days ago..:gig
I think our garden is 10x10?

Yeah, I've got to go to rhinehart's feed store to pick up some more Turkey feed since tractor supply doesn't sell any anymore :barnie But they've got a whole lot of seeds I can pick up in bulk while i'm at there, I just need to make a list of what I need..

Way too cute and beautiful. My fav is of the two different sized chicks together!
