I want another for myself eventually for when we take her places. And of course a smaller kids size for when the kids are ready to learn. I told them they can't ride until they learn how to properly care for her. Grooming, feeding, cleaning a stall. And then they had to learn how to lead. Then run her through paces. After all of that we can start to teach them slowly. The oldest is already asking when canbivbrush her down and such. The two younger are happy to pet and love on her. And she just eats it right up. So glad things worked out the way they did.
Your sure the saddle fits her properly?..Took me a bit of time to get the proper fit..

That sounds good. It could be that he slipped in a muddy spot and it made him sore a bit. I don't know if your ground is anything like how ours gets, but this red clay dirt van get slippery when wet. I'm so grateful that 99.9% of our property is grass covered. Garden, coops, and right in front of our main bldg excluded.

Yes. We went through three before we chose this one. Even had to hunt down a proper sized girth strap. Got her tacked up and made sure it seats proper. I told my Hubbs that I wasn't willing to take any chances on her or us getting injured so everything had to be right. Not sure I love the stirrups. I'm used to the metal not leather covered. But I can change those out later on.
