I'm going to wait a day or so and let them get settled with their new additions then I'll make the move. The garde is fenced with garden fencing and they can run for cover under the rabbit hutch if necessary. ... Fancy and Sassy are two of my best and most cautious hens so I think they would be safe enough as long as they get locked into the hutch at night. Still going to think on it. Didn't have staples to put up the smaller fencing on the other co-op to chick proof it so the hutch will have to do for now Until the hubbs gets some. It's a decent enough size for now but they will need the space as they grow. Not familiar with the set ups you have. Do what you think works...
Oh, I'm not up on the hocus pocus side of Bird keeping. I am old school and do as my old family and friends have done without issues..The good thing is this hutch will be awesome in the future for broodies to lay on their nest and hatch out some chickies. Better than the one they were in this go around. I'm going to attempt to get lavender going (again). It's supposed to me calming for nesting hens.....

Mint is also good. Deters rodents, bugs, and such. Since I planted mine up at the house I don't see a lot around there.
