Yeah!I candled all and only one I think is Jenny's and it has life in it...
I just moved her and set up a new nest. She had 4 that were developing but I chose to not hatch those ones. She has a good amount all due the same time though. I won't say how many because I hate jinxing myself.Yeah!![]()
I really want silkies again someday but I think i'm going to focus on what I already have..Yes...Unless Jennys eggs hatch too?...
Awesome....I really want silkies again someday but I think i'm going to focus on what I already have..
I've been in the hatching spirit all month so i've decided to splurge a bit and bought a whole bunch of hatching eggs. I should be getting 7+ Cream crested legbar hatching eggs, 10+ bielefelder, And 18+ frizzled Tolbunt polish hatching eggs (Supper excited about those) between the 8th and the 13th~
Saw an auction for 12+ call duck hatching eggs that I placed a bid on too. Some grays, whites, snowies, Butterscotch.. Might even get a few crested calls? That is if i win the actual bid so we'll see..
I figured since I have my order of layers coming in soon I might as well hatch out some chickies myself. I'm actually surprised none of my birds have gone broody yet, Especially my turkeys. But I probably wouldn't let anyone hatch out anything this time of yearAwesome...... I didn't want these this time of year but Bonnie was determined to Brood and it was too cold then to stop her. So here we are waiting for babies...
