That's the reason I bred dogs when I was younger but stopped. Actually it's the reason I no longer breed and sell anything. The worry kept me up at night. I'm glad you are able to take back any of them.

I cancelled my chick order for July. I realized yesterday that I can't do another batch because this arm has me exhausted and frustrated. I'm gonna just have a broody hatch a few more if I can convince one to do so.

Yes..I froze the chicken eggs Bonnie abandoned because I definitely don't need a Brooder box of Chicks..

I still have 3 ducks sitting on about 12 eggs total, the one chicken hen on two turkey eggs, and the band of misfits in my brooder box, so I'm definitely still got too much going on. Plus still keeping an eye out for a puppy.

All I did was dream all night about the puppy and the birds..

Baby Clover still cries and actually only eats when I come to the tote to get it eating..
I thought it was doing better alone...

Geese have a pen in the shed but still have no clue what to do with themselves, so I'm still like the kindergarten monitor for them.

This Duckling will definitely do better with a chick to follow and bond with. Due today but her husband won't open the incubator till all hatch.....

Darla is hilarious and chews her toenails
She actually uses her paws like hands and is Monkey like. She plays Patti cake too...

Single birds don't do well. I was happy I got two bantam, two poults and 3 standards, so when I separate them all they have a buddy. The oldest poult was eager for it's scrambled eggs today. When I turned my back to get them in the dish it jumped up 2 feet and was sitting on the box edge waiting.
