I popped two more eggs in my incubator so will be due two days later...It won't bother the hatch so I did it..Snowy/Appleyard Bantam eggs..Blossoms.

Hm? Is it ok to put eggs in lock-down a day early? Lock-down for standard ducks is day 25 right?

Yes...It won't hurt them..Ducks or Chickens don't have calendars...

Makes sense. Thanks, speaking of hens. My duck hens refuse to lay in their nest. Instead they're laying in the flooded ditches The water drained and I found 13 eggs on the ground where the water was. These ducks are killing me.

I know they can be frustrating...Last year my one Hen laid her egg in the kiddie pool so I removed the pool..That went on for days...

Try locking them in longer in the morning so they lay in the shed?...I do that now...

Yup, they sure can be! But yet i still want more? They can be pretty enjoyable most of the times. I really want some East Indies & Snowy Mallards too but i'm afraid the mallards will fly away?
