Dilemma:
The lady that I contacted last week about the light brahmas and OEs responded that she has newly hatched chicks. No BCMs. I think she is 1.5 hrs away.
However, I also contacted someone closer and they will have chicks in 4 weeks - OE and Cream Legbars. She is less than an hour from me.
What to do. ??

I would do what your heart wants..Your asking Bird Crazy people to help you decide......

To top off my Bad week..Kupid got through a bad spot in my fence and was in the back part of my property...Snow past my knees....Only thing good was he never injured himself...
He got caught up in fence and thank God my Husband was their to help with his back legs..
Locked up safe till that gets fixed...

I think you should get from both people. Get say 2 or 3 Light Brahmas and an Olive Egger from the first lady and then get 2 or 3 Legbars and an Olive Egger from the second lady.

How's your eggs doing?..

When I candled on day 4 only 1 was infertile. One died on day 5 due to a temperature spike. There are a few ? eggs, but most of them look really good. . It's day 13.
