That's what I plan on doingMy Duck Hens do great in the summer..I hoard Duck eggs and incubate then when tired of it let Mommas do a Hatch..Then they are done laying till winter..
I've only incubated ducks once and had a poor hatch rate.. Well.. The incubator was at my friends house cause they wanted to do a little experiment and what-not.. But I know other people who raise ducks and have had great hatching experiences with ducks so i'm crossing my fingers i'll have a good hatch rate. Actually.. I guess you could say this is my first time hatching anything myself. Having the incubator on behind is making me just want to throw a couple of eggs in there now! *Sigh* I must be strong..Ducks are easy too...
Any tips? I've hear that spraying 50% Listerine and 50% water before you set them helps with bacteria, so I might try that out.I usually have great success hatching Ducks..

I guess thats true...Ugh i'm just way to excited to start hatching and want to know as much as possible before I start. I have a gut feeling that i'm going to get way too addicted to the whole 'hatching' business......Never do anything and have great hatches.
Too much hype on hatching..Mommas hatch without anything..Just her body..
