Got my incubator at the right temp.. I need to get another thermometer to make sure the temps are right. I've got about 26 days to make sure everything is alright with it. I don't think my calls will be laying by then so I might just be setting chicken and guinea eggs.. Oh and @oldhenlikesdogs feel free to ramble about anything.. That's what i've been doing Ps i love your blue splash cochin~ He's gorgeous

Always happy to help with hatching, if i can. Been super swamped at "real work" end of the year and all. Crazy times.

I'm dying to incubate something, but not gonna do it in this cold. Just a few more weeks to hold out.

My free-range Swedish drakes have kept their pond from totally freezing over....so far. Let's hope it stays thawed.

He's a mottled. I have 3 roosters, and a young pullet with 5 more ordered for next May, 4 pullets and another rooster because I like their spunk and coloring too.

This little guy is a mottled cochin crossed with a bantam buff Brahma. I have a bunch of roosters.

Ah up close he doesn't look like a blue splash.. Used to have one and looked somewhat like yours. Very beautiful roosters!

Just got my new incubator in the mail so I can relate... Your ducks are so pretty~ I've been meaning to get some Swedishes but again it's a bit cold out to order anything. I've actually been looking at Purely poultry for some sexed geese and am very tempted to get them.. they're pretty cheap and I could always order some ducks along with them.... Oh how I wish winter wasn't so long!
