I ate my jumbo for breakfast. Another double yolker.
Just in case you are wondering - the egg separator was not used for the jumbo egg. I just threw the egg shell in it I used the separator to make my chocolate chip cookies with a different egg. However, in the bowl is the extra egg white because I was just going to have it for breakfast too.

I’ve only ever had 2 double yolk eggs from my chickens. One was from Sophie a Light Brahma when she was a pullet and the other was from Eleanor.

Well at least Pearl hasn't completely weaned her off. Sounds like a great moma to me~ I'm patiently waiting for Mama to go broody again so I can hatch out some more chickies.. Nothing yet though. ANd i'm pretty sure the one call isn't broody. Either that or she is very determined to set. Mama seems to have taken a liking to Phillip though. She's always around him now. She's probably my favorite chicken on the farm.. Love her to death and would be devastated if something happened to her


This is why i'd love to have a Gander, I've heard Ganders are just as motherly as the actually mother herself. Can't wait to get my geese ^^

Please keep me updated on your geese you get! I don’t have any but I love to watch and look at them. Both parents parenting is so sweet to me!

Any one familiar with Black Swan the Ballet?...I just slipped on the Ice with a full pail of water and it was nothing like that......I was cussing and then laughing...I called it Brown Duck Ballet and even hurt my knee...
