I think I may have a feather picker. I am just not sure. The IBs never went through a molt, but at least 1 is looking a little ragged in spots. So, today got flock raiser with a higher protein and will make sure the oyster shell is always available. I made a boredom buster bottle with feed in it, so they aren't getting extra treats. They figured it out right away.

The flock raiser can be used with the ducklings. It says until market, but can it be used the whole time like with chickens?
Should I add any niacin or brewers yeast? I read it has niacin, so it should be ok?
My hubby is having second thoughts about me getting ducklings. :barnie
He doesn't see the purpose in them since he knows that I won't eat them.
Duck eggs I hear are great to use in soufflés

Yesterday I screwed up again and had 2 bunnies out together. Thankfully they were both females. So unfortunately I had to move the remaining buck, Mr Peabody, to the other shed with the rest of the males before I end up with all my rabbits pregnant.

I felt bad, he's my main boy, but he's adjusting to the bachelor pen. The girls seem sad without a man in their midst.

In other interesting news the muscovy ducks were all outside playing in the puddles and Dwight my drake was squishing hens trying to mate them. So I'm sure they will start laying soon.

You don't let them hatch eggs, right?

These are my little ones Just started letting them go out for an hour a day. The smaller ones are black and yellow and they are turning white and black.
