Wow that is so coolThe owner did. She vent sexed. Plus, she knows how the color genetics work and with certain mixes in moscovies, you can sex them according to color. She double checked via vent just to be sure.

Hope all is well with her.I’m really worried about Albastru...she keeps her left eye closed most of the time and stays in the henhouse. I looked at her eye today and she had some dried gunk on her eye lid and I removed it. She also seems to have less eyelashes on her left eye lids than she does on her right eyelids. I’ll try to get some pictures tomorrow. I also hung a feeder in their run today and Albastru starting eating, she seemed intimidated by Wendy when I had their food in a bowl. I hope Albastru will be better soon![]()
I just took her inside to check on her and it appears that her left eye is father in her eye socket than the right eye. I’m freaking out!Hope all is well with her.
I don’t have a photo as I just noticed it and put her back in the henhouse. I’ll try to get some photos tomorrow morning. I just made a thread on the emergency and illness forum. I’m freaking outI don't know as I am new to all of this. Do you have a photo? Maybe post it on the injury and illness forum. It seems quiet in here tonight.
Would a dog and cat vet do or should I find an avian vet in my area?I would take her to a vet. Being moved to a new home is stressful, so is your current weather. Both will cause illnesses to crop up. It's possible she will improve on her own but I wouldn't chance it.
