Topic of the Week - What do you do with all those eggs?

I thought I responded to this thread but I guess not. After I save some to eat fresh, give away most, I water glass the rest. Love this method for preserving extra eggs

Currently, I have 13 that are laying and 30 (don’t ask) that will start in the fall. Most of them to my 3 girls, and I sell some to my nail tech. Everything else is scrambled for the chickens to eat. Once the rest start laying? For that I need a plan; which I currently do NOT have. 😂
Did you know you can freeze eggs? I freeze mine in a covered ice tray. Thawed then cooked or used in baking, i haven't been able to tell a difference in taste or consistency. I admittedly don't eat eggs plain. Only scrambled about once a year with more cheese and mayo than egg. Or in baked goods. But my daughter said it's the same taste and texture.

I give some away and sell some.
Of course we eat eggs too, but that seems to ebb and flow.
I have also cracked a few and gave them to the pullets. Lots of nutritional value in eggs and the young ones can benefits from it.

We're not big on eggs, so most get boiled in huge batches and fed back to chickens, guineas, and ducks. During egg laying season my geese will eat them, too. Every time we fire up the smoker, though, I'll throw every egg we have on there and feast! Smoked eggs are divine.

As we all know eggs are a welcome benefit of keeping chickens, but sometimes, especially after chicken math hits and the flock grew, some of us may have the wonderful dilemma of having a few too many eggs! I'm curious to hear what you all do with your chickens' eggs. Especially the extra ones.

Angle food cake, give yokes to dogs (cooked)

Let's say... If I count all my chickens of all ages, I have 23 birds. And I had to buy eggs at the grocery store!
All my birds are either molting or breeding, or both, right now, and I always let broodies have babies, so I never really have too many eggs any time of the year.
If I ever had too many eggs, too many even for my friends and neighbors, then I'd either sell fertile eggs or feed them back to my flock.
