Call Ducks or Bantams...Crazy Animals Around the Farm

Yes! The ones in the bator are from my hen! The other hen goes to her new home tomorrow along with the two drakes. Only my Drake and hen staying. But I got to keep her eggs and my father in law bought their large pool in exchange for me keeping them fed and cared for. He is keeping a Drake and his beat friend is taking the pair. It's funny bc my pair stick with each other, they occasionally flock with the other three but my Drake keeps the other two away from his lady. So the other hen has been theirs and they have tried mating my Pekins who are still young.
Will you incubate those too?

Look at these two lazy bones!

Okay finally I have returned.

New chicks, a buff Orpington, 2 salmon faverolle, one is circling weird, hopefully okay, a blue copper marans, 2 EE, 2 barnevelder, an olive egger, 5 bantam mottled cochins, ones a roo, 4 bantam EE, and ones a roo.

Pheasants, gonna try to wean them off the light over the next week while it's hot so they can move onto the next pen.

It's official! I'm in love with all the cuteness! Curious....what kind of pheasants do you have? We are getting a pair of yellow golden chicks tomorrow. And when they hatch we will be getting a pair of red golden and a pair of lady Amherst! The Hubbs started planning their enclosures last night. They will brood with my quail!

We got them at the tractor supply, one tank was labeled ring neck, the other Chinese. Seems to me all pheasants are Chinese. We will be releasing them into our fields with the hopes some will survive and hang around. They are crazy birds.
