Call Ducks or Bantams...Crazy Animals Around the Farm

I think the higher prices around here are just for pure and good clean bloodlines because other breeds dont sell as well. People here like to show.
I guess you got lucky because Chickens of any breed are a Dime a Dozen unless you hit the Poultry shows and get in with a group..
 
Hey guys i'm back! I've been awfully busy. And you guys know how I said I had 3 snowy drakes and one male. That is apparently wrong. Those ducks are not Snowy calls, they are spots. I thought by silver spots, she meant snowy calls, but they are spots.
I figured out the difference because I saw Jane Eddington-Freeman at the show, and she told me that the Snowy call variety originated from the spot variety. Jane was the one who sold me the spots and the black bibbed call drakes I have.
All of my spots are in this picture alongside Brownie out of everybody in this pen.
I'll do a recap of what happened with me over my absence for about a year. And yes, I will take pictures at some point.

Yes, it gets confusing because people really don't know what they have or pass off other Breeds as Calls or mix breed them too..
