I guess you got lucky because Chickens of any breed are a Dime a Dozen unless you hit the Poultry shows and get in with a group..

I have Orpington Hens and they are not show Birds nor close to breed standard. Just Backyard Orpington. I like them so that's all that matters.

Hey guys i'm back! I've been awfully busy. And you guys know how I said I had 3 snowy drakes and one male. That is apparently wrong. Those ducks are not Snowy calls, they are spots. I thought by silver spots, she meant snowy calls, but they are spots.

This is an even better shot of the little guy!!!

I figured out the difference because I saw Jane Eddington-Freeman at the show, and she told me that the Snowy call variety originated from the spot variety. Jane was the one who sold me the spots and the black bibbed call drakes I have.
All of my spots are in this picture alongside Brownie out of everybody in this pen.
I'll do a recap of what happened with me over my absence for about a year. And yes, I will take pictures at some point.

Yea, I got some good groups in my area. It helps that my breeds aren't common so people see them and fall in love.lol. Now if only I could get my hands on some Crele Orpingtons I'd be set....

Yes, it gets confusing because people really don't know what they have or pass off other Breeds as Calls or mix breed them too..
