Call Ducks or Bantams...Crazy Animals Around the Farm

I finally remembered I didn't want more ducks, thankfully my drake isn't doing his job. I will stick with chickens you can stick with ducks. But really it's a hard thing to say no more of any species, and even harder to follow through. It's a very personal decision.

Just went and scoped out some nearby land. This horse thing has the Hubbs feeling like we should start looking. Something close where we can truly expand the farm. But not too big so I'm not overwhelmed. ......

hey all~ just got back from picking up my seramas and honestly, I'm so happy with these guys. The rooster is gorgeous and has the perfect stance~ The hens not so much but honestly I don't care. She gave me 2 extra serama chicks just because she felt bad.. She was super nice about everything. She also had some call ducks she didn't want so she said I could take them if I want, Which I did.. Here are some pictures of everyone~

How much do you have now and what size are you looking at?

Available for pasture? 1.75 acres. 3 total. But I also have the .25 of goat pasture. Looking at a few plots down the road that range from 3.36-5.47

They make a mess of my waters in the winter, plus they are very long lived, most live to 12 or longer. I have a 10 year plan to simplify my life before I'm too old and crippled to do all this stuff. It's the era of downsizing for me, and thinking forward about my husband's retirement in a few years, and what we are planning for the future. Long winded answer there.
