You could also just herd them into the pen and feed them the scratch and then let them back out too..

I think I’ll move Charlotte and the pullet chicks into the main coop. Should I do it now or wait for the evening?

I’m just not sure if it’s the right thing to do. Charlotte has stopped fighting with the other birds and I think that the sooner I integrate her and the pullet chicks into the flock the happier everyone will be.

Oh I let both groups forage in the yard together and things have been going quite well. I just haven’t moved Charlotte and the pullet chicks to the main coop yet.

Do it now as they free range your yard..Then put them in for the night in the pen..

Just finished moving Charlotte and the pullet chicks. The flock squabbled a bit but now everyone is calm.
