Unfortunately here it's an epidemic. Shifting leg lameness, and generally limping and sore are the main symptoms. Fever, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea, and lack of appetite are some others.

If caught early, and treated with antibiotics prognosis is good. Left too long and dogs can get kidney failure, heart problems and arthritis to name a few. I believe the incidents are increasing out in the north east.

Jeepers that's scary...We don't have these issues up here.

It's amazing how fast these SS are growing. They eat like monsters and drink lots of water too. Definitely different than Silkies..

I will have to come up with names for Pullets too..I have a few but hopefully I will need more...
