never be sorry. you have loads of great advice!

Shannon I love your advice. Please don’t feel like you aren’t allowed to share it :hugs
especially here on the judgement free thread. we are all friends and should be supportive. never hold back. thats why we love you Shannon.

They were on all flock 20% over the winter. I switched them to layer at the end of February. I wonder if that has something to do with it.
could be. maybe mix the two at a 60/40 ratio to balance the % level....

only snack i feed nowadays is frozen brussel sprout garland. great in nutrition, boredom buster, and beats the heat.

im such a slacker. :oops:just went down to check and tend to chicks around 4. (2hrs ago). however..... still had feed and water and the three i almost lost are fully thriving. almost couldnt tell which they were. (had to look at markings).:wee

Aww! Thanks Jessica..

horses are just as intertaining as chickens and ducks.... just saying. watching Nature Boy and Sully interact for the first time in the same section of pasture. they are curious but Sully is slightly wary. good thing NB is sweet, gentle, and patient. could not do this with Rose. she will be last one to introduce on the same side of the fence. her being the herd leader and all.
