Set up a breaker if you can...So late yesterday evening my Lavender Orpington (Big Lady— the prettier one) was on the nesting box. Usually the girls lay earlier in the day, but I came back this morning and she’s still there and is poofing up and making broody noises.No more broodies!!!!!!

Yup. At they all go broody at onceOh .....Broody Hens are a pain till you need one and then they aren't Broody..

You can try sealing it off with nail polish or liquid bandaid..Well, the 2 broodies were fighting this morning and one of the 4 eggs I gave the Brahma mix was slightly broken. It isn’t too bad so I put it in the incubator and will hope for the best.![]()
