Call Ducks or Bantams...Crazy Animals Around the Farm

2 of my dogs were throwing up yesterday and one refuses to eat, so I'm gonna treat everyone for giardia. I am shampooing shrug, washing bedding, and trying to clean up the environment the best I can. Breeder lady said it's no big deal, but she isn't the one that has to try to get all these meds in 6 dogs when some won't eat half the time. So if you don't hear from me in a while I'm here crying trying to get this straightened around.

The only good thing is at our temperatures giardia can only survive for 7 days in the environment. I think I might go insane at some point.

Good thing Shorty is cute. She's starting to feel better which is good except for that crazy energy kicking in.

Yeah, it's always something with a new puppy for me for some reason. In a month everything will be okey dokey.

I'm gonna start to downsize with poultry. It's getting to be too much. So no new ones next year if I can control myself and we may remove some muscovy this fall to make more room in the shed for those geese. Maybe I will go down to just my bantams too eventually.

My husband said I can't sell the SS Pullets yet...
Well if they don't start all getting along they definitely can't stay here..

Yeah, it's always something with a new puppy for me for some reason. In a month everything will be okey dokey.

I'm gonna start to downsize with poultry. It's getting to be too much. So no new ones next year if I can control myself and we may remove some muscovy this fall to make more room in the shed for those geese. Maybe I will go down to just my bantams too eventually.

Yes...Definitely I need to change things. Darla is terrible so I did finally spank her this morning for tearing up paper.
She is so sad too.....
I definitely love my Bantams. Zero stress.

Zero interest in my Calls so I really needed these like I need another hole in my head.....

Raising a pup is hard work that last for a year or two. Than they generally are easier. I forgot all this because it's been 5 years since my last puppy, and she was very laid back. Shortly is very persistent, and strong willed. I'm gonna be challenged a lot as far as patience. She's learning to sit in her crate, or get tied out under supervision or else I can't keep track of her, or get anything done unless she's sleeping. I have no regrets, but I forgot how much I dislike raising them.

It doesn't help it's so hot and humid, and it's been too wet to clean out my shed properly from winter. So everything is smelly, and flies are terrible. I'm getting too old for too much. Time to retire.

All my Birds are yelling to be let out..I can't till after my Pal comes because I lock up the dogs or they jump and scratch people's trucks..
Seriously somedays I think about having nothing..

That's why we just butcher. Too many extra critters for sale this time of year, especially since the price of feed is rising due to so much rain this year. That's another reason I'm downsizing.
