And for fun I want to cross a silkie and an OEGB next year... Old English Game Silkies.

Forest Hump and Jenny are Old English game Bantams crossed with Rosecomb. Same Rooster but different Hens.
Then I crossed Jenny with Olaf the Silkie Rooster. That's how I got the two chicken Little Pullets. Now I hope I have Forest and Bonnie crossed and in my incubator

I have never hatched any crosses with Bonnie yet so I'm interested to see what comes out of that cross between Bonnie and Forest. Sure she hatched eggs but hers were pure Silkie and that one died from pasty butt.. oops I also got that black Silkie from her and Olaf.

Do you have the parents of that little Cockerel your wanting more of? You can always hatch out 6 more before winter?

The light grey chick I have is either a Satin Silkie or a pure Cochin? The lady wasn't sure.

Not sure why you won't put her with the KC Ducks?
They are cute..
