I got my ducks today and they are in quarantine. I'm curious though. They were already a group together. 2 males and 3 females. Can I keep both males with them? 2 were breeding last year they said, but worried about them fighting

Pictures? :pop
I have what look like a pair of mallards, possible swedish mix Male, swedish female, and unsure what the white female is.

Mallard female and swedish female both brooded babies last year.

It's really going to be trial and error. You could try keeping them together and see how it goes, but make plans for if they cannot all live together or need to be separated sometimes.
Okay I wasnt sure. Like I said they were sold as a group. They are over a year old. But didnt think about asking if there had been more females at some point

Congrats on your new ducks, they are beautiful! :love
I have many ducks, but one is a group of four, two hens and two drakes and the four get along great, no fighting ever, and no over breeding, so anything is possible.

I have another group of three drakes and six hens, they get along too.
