Are ducks suppose to laynthrough the winter months? Or do they begin to slow down? I have a female blue swedish duck who started laying but stopped.

Do you mean a blue bibbed Call duck, they look like mini Swedish ducks? Most ducks don't lay through the winter months, unless they are indoors were it is warm and lit.

I'm so confused....

Are you asking if call ducks lay in the winter? If so. Yes, they do. My 2 females have just started laying and I will be setting some of their eggs in the incubator tomorrow.
All ducks are capable of laying eggs in the winter. As long as they have the right amount of feed, water, light, and etc.

Clever! lol i think she made this title just so folks would click on it, as did I!!!!!
